　Chinese whispersで「伝言ゲーム」という意味らしい。ムズ～～～！

　この曲には知らない単語ないな、ガハハ企画倒れか。と思っていたら、「sight for sore eyes」で「珍客」という意味らしい。これは知らなかったら絶対わからんね。

 

For figure eights in the ice in your stare

　「figure eights」＝「8の字」。言われてみればあ～となるけど、初見では10分考え込んだ。

　＝「いったりきたり」

　この曲すごい好きなんですよね。このフレーズも好き。serratedは「のこぎり状の」という意味。

　uncalm＝Not calm。見たらわかりますが…。ほかにめぼしいものもないし、初めて見た単語だったので一応。

　だから、Kindle Fireっていうのか……。なんで本なのに苦手属性のFireなんだ、ってずっと思っていました。

　Carve upで「切り分ける」「分割する」。

　地味知識だけどhandって他動詞でこういうふうに使えるんですね。で、自動詞としては使わないと。受験とかで4択穴埋めで「hand」「hand in」「hand to」「hand on」から選ぶみたいな問題出されたらふつうに全然無理だっただろうな…。

　カタパルトというと、ゲームによく出てくるこれを思い出すのだが、ふつうにぱちんこ（石を飛ばすY字のやつ）という意味もあるらしい。

　動詞でも使えて、catapult＝「投石機・ぱちんこで飛ばす」。あと、be catapulted toで「突然～の状態になる」 とも言えるらしい。

　歌詞はこの2行だけの最後の曲。flingは「放り投げる」といった感じの意味。
